I grew up in El Paso, TX, and attended Baylor University, where I studied Business Administration. As a single parent raising 2 boys, it took me many years to be able to purchase my first home. I know first-hand the struggles and disappointment, as well as the joy and empowerment that comes with the home buying experience. That is why I am passionate about helping people realize the dream of home ownership.
I am excited to help you walk through the process of buying or selling real estate. It has always been my joy to work with and be of service to people. Next to my number 1 goal of excellent customer service, education is very important to me. I am always taking classes through the Metrotex Association of Realtors, Collin County Association of Realtors, and Coldwell Banker Apex, to hone my skills as a real estate professional.
As a seller, I will help you stage your house to look it’s best and arrange professional photography to help your home stand out to potential buyers. I will negotiate the best price for your house, and then walk you through the closing process and beyond. As a buyer, I will help you find your dream home, negotiate your offer, and walk you through the process of closing on your home.
I look forward to the opportunity to serve you.

Mike Motley did a great job for us. In fact, he helped us buy our new home and sell our old home within three weeks. We were really dreading the headaches of a long, drawn-out ordeal, but with Mike’s help we sailed through everything with ease. Mike is very trustworthy. He gave us excellent counsel throughout the process. He really knows the market and has the experience and knowledge to help his clients avoid potential pitfalls in buying and selling. We had very little experience in buying or selling, but he gave us all the guidance and advice we needed at each step along the way, from preparation for selling to offers and counter-offers to inspections to closing. On our old house, Mike represented both the buyer and the seller. When the transaction was complete, I think both sides felt like they got a good deal – I know we did.

"When my wife and I began looking at houses, we ran across a house that Mike was showing. After just a few minutes with Mike and we knew he was the realtor we wanted to represent us. So, when it came time to put our house on the market and get serious about finding our new home, he was who we went with. And we're very glad we did. Mike walked us through every step and helped us get our asking price for the house we were selling, as well as helped us get a great deal on our new home. Mike's honesty and integrity was evident in every step along the way and plus he was just fun to work with! We will turn to Mike when it comes time to buy and/or sell again."

“The ache for home lives in all of us. The safe place where we can go as we are and not be questioned.” As I thought of buying a house, and these words from Maya Angelou circled in my mind, the voices told me that Mike had his work cut out for him. Don’t worry, I didn’t answer them; however, Mike did. His knowledge, patience, and counsel put our minds at ease. Every step of the way, as we had questions, he had answers.
Then, it happened, as it does in every search; we hit a brick wall. “The brick walls are not there to keep us out. The brick walls are there to give us a chance to show how badly we want something.” This was Mike’s attitude, and that made all the difference for Brandy and me. He immediately devised a new plan for us, a way around the wall, and within days we walked into the house that was home. This is the magic of Mike.
Through out the remainder of the process Mike continued to be open and available for us. His truthful, thoughtful, and accurate advice made an otherwise difficult situation appear easy. As a result of Mike’s diligence and effort, I can truly say, “home is the nicest word there is.”

“I have been extremely satisfied with the services Mike Motley provided me during the process of purchasing my home. He was very professional, attentive and most of all, listened to my requests and offered constructive suggestions. He guided me through the entire purchase process and negotiated the best deal to fit and stay within my budget. He was very easy to communicate with and always responded in a timely manner. Best of all, after the purchase he followed up to assure I was satisfied with my purchase, which I am happy to say I am – no regrets. I highly recommend his services, whether you are in the market to buy or sell a home.”
“Our experience with Mike Motley was excellent. He was very knowledgeable of all of the neighborhoods that we were interested in looking at. His preparation was outstanding as he not only took the requests from us for houses to look at, he took the initiative to find houses that fit our criteria that we had not discovered on our own. He was a gracious host and chauffeur, and was patient as we looked at each house, some for a while longer than others. He accommodated our schedule, as we had to travel 4 hours to get to the Garland/Sachse area, to include weekend house hunting excursions. I would highly recommend Mike as he worked hardtop make our experience as positive as a house hunting experience can be, he exceeded our expectations and successfully assisted in finding our “forever” home. Thanks Mike!”

Mike was an excellent realtor. He was patient, honest, and understanding with all of our request and concerns. I enjoyed working with Mike and would recommend him in a heartbeat.
Mike has such great people skills and makes you feel that you’re the most important client he has. He gave terrific guidance on pricing our home, being realistic with us and therefore no time was wasted in the process. We had a million questions and he was always quickly available to answer them all. If you are anywhere close to the DFW metroplex, don’t even think twice about who you could call for trustworthy help in buying and selling your home. He’s the best amongst all the rest.
Mike suggested several ideas of things we could do to make our house more sellable, did a great job of getting professional pictures made for the listing and did great job marketing our house, it sold in three days at the price listed
