If you are a Seller...
If you are a Buyer...
Ms. Wingard and I were put in touch with each other through USAA's Veterans Homeowners Assistance. She proactively contacted me months before my upcoming move (government relocation) and began to put together a picture of the types of houses to show me long before my arrival.
Due to budgeting issues, my relocation date and funds were tied up and in limbo for a long time. I came to Dallas on a househunting trip, and despite my lack of readiness for making a purchase, Ms. Wingard gave of her time to show me around the area, treating me as if I had $1 million cash in my pocket ready to spend.
I cannot say enough of her professionalism and her knowledge of the local market. She tailored the home searches constantly based on my reactions to the showings we went to. She explained to me the homebuying process in Texas, and of how to make my offer a winning offer. She also educated me on what to look for when viewing a home - little things to be aware of regarding home inspections and home structures.
Her responsiveness to my calls and emails were dazzling. She always explained things to me on my level, making sure that I was fully informed of everything she wanted to get across.
When the day came, when we found "the one" - Beverly tailored an offer that was irresistible to the seller. Despite being in a multiple offer situation, she reassured me that we had a good chance based on the extras we threw in. And it paid off. She got us the house we wanted at a reasonable rate.
Ms. Wingard also helped us with the financing process, putting us in touch with local banks and insurance agents who got us phenomenal rates on our mortgage and home insurance (and we got a sweet deal on auto insurance out of it, too).
Most of all, Beverly continues to check up on us to see how our home is coming along. She shows an interest in her clients, not as just clients, but as friends and lifelong connections.
She occasionally would say, ". . . and in a few years when you come to me to sell your home . . ." She was right - if the time should ever come to sell - I will reach out to her as a respected agent and a friend, knowing that I will be taken care of in the best way possible.
Beverly is very knowledgeable about the business and very professional in her duties, we would highly recommend her to anyone. Beverly helped sell our home and purchase another home within a 2 month time frame, our home she sold was only listed 2 days and we had bids on it.
During a precarious move from out of state, Beverly Wingard made my home buying process pleasantly predictable, enjoyable, and productive. First, she was very familiar with the DFW metroplex--the changing market, many neighborhoods, and several builders. If she didn't know the answer to any of my many questions, she wasn't afraid to tell me she needed to do a bit of research before giving me a well informed answer. I always appreciated her honesty. Second, Beverly excelled at "homework" and came prepared to every one of our meetings. She demonstrated a cool confidence in the home buying process that only comes from experience and helped put me at ease. Third, she was always easy to get a hold of and prompt to respond. Finally, when she found my beautiful home, she crafted an offer that easily beat out two others, so her ability to negotiate in competitive situations was exceptional. Personally, Beverly carries herself with all the poise and determination one would expect from a professional realtor who has served as a college instructor and also has her MBA. She is intelligent, personable, and professionally motivated. In addition, she is personally committed to helping veterans and diligently works for those that have served their country. Not only do I recommend Beverly to friends and associates, but I will certainly contract her services again when I sell in the future.
