Jolie Williams is the 3rd Generation of Real Estate Professionals in her family. Her Grandfather owned and operated a builder supply company providing hardwood... lumber, and plywood to builders in Oklahoma City. In 1987 Jolie’s family moved to DFW, and her father opened a builder supply company providing hardwood lumber, plywood, moldings, trim, doors… to builders, contractors, and the public. As a young girl Jolie would accompany her father to builder sites and walk through homes as they were being built.
As an adult she noticed that walking through homes and following the market had become a hobby, and so she decided to leave corporate America to pursue a career as Realtor®. As a real estate professional Jolie found that a large portion of the real estate market is comprised of divorcing couples. She knew, having gone through a divorce herself, that clients going through the divorce need a professional who not only empathizes with what they are going through, but who understands the tax and legal implications of dividing real estate in a divorce.
Jolie sought to educate herself by reading articles online, and in her research she found that the Financial Divorce Association offered a designation as a Certified Real Estate Divorce Specialist. She immediately registered for and completed the training to become the 124th Certified Real Estate Divorce Specialist in the country, 8th in Texas, and 1st in Collin County.
