It took a late night call a week or so ago from a Coldwell Banker Apex agent telling me that one of our clients had an air conditioning issue that needed attention from our Coldwell Banker Home Protection Plan. The call came in around 10pm on a Friday night. The client had called in the claim and a service call was set up but not before Monday. Our client had small children and it was going to be a long weekend with the high temperatures and an air conditioning system that wasn't functioning up to par!

I immediately put a call into the Coldwell Banker Home Protection Plan warranty representative. I got a call back from them even though they were in Florida on vacation. The ever present and willing to help representative authorized funds to help the client spend the night at a hotel so the family could be comfortable.

Needless to say we had a happy client and a happy agent. What I realize though with that phone call was that even through the longest, hottest summer in 30 years, this was my first reports of clients who were experiencing issues that they felt needed my attempted intervention as the broker. The first one ONLY came in late August and was taken care of in the speedy fashion that we have come to expect and probably now take for granted!

Thank you Coldwell Banker Home Protection Plan on behalf of our clients, our agents and a broker who appreciates the kind of response I received on a hot August Friday night!
